Ran the engine first thing to get the charging started. Got a pump-out mid-morning at Nantwich marina and bought some rope for the Squirrel ash-pan door. Would have had to wait too long for water, so went on and got it at Barbridge junction. Turned down the Middlewich arm and tied up a few hundred yards before Cholmondeston Lock.
